GVB CELEBRATES 50 YEARS WITH “REDISCOVER GUAM” ISLAND BUS TOUR
To celebrate 50 years of Tourism on Guam, the Guam Visitors Bureau is offering a free, all day “Rediscover Guam” Island Bus Tour open to all residents on the Saturdays of August 3 and 10, 2013.
To encourage local participation in the industry, and to elevate understanding of Guam’s primary economic driver, the bus tours will take residents to the more popular tourist sites, including a drive through Tumon and Pleasure Island, visits to Two Lovers Point, historic Hagåtña and the site for the new Guam Museum, Asan Bay Overlook, National Park Service’s T. Stell Newman Visitors Center, a tour through the southern end of the island, including a visit to Jeff’s Pirates Cove and more.
The tours will be guided by local historian, Toni “Malia” Ramirez and are free of charge. Refreshments will be available however, lunch is not provided. Seats are limited to 50 guests per tour.
